Loic Korval is the European Champion of 2014 in Montpellier and silver medallist at the European Games 2015. Korval won world bronze in 2010 and fights U66 with his rival David Larose for Rio. He won the European team title with France. Started 2016 with silver in Havana, but was suspended for 6 months eactly in the Olympic period. He came back with silver at the French Championships U73kg. He retired in 2017 and became coach in Serbia but came back in 2019 and won bronze in Cluj at the Eiuro Op

Loïc Korval makes international comeback at Grand Slam Tokyo

After a suspension of six months Loïc Korval is back on track. The European Champion of 2014 in Montpellier and silver medallist at the European Games 2015 won a silver medal at the French Championships U73kg last weekend and is now selected for the Grand Slam in Tokyo. Read more

Loic Korval 6 months suspended by French doping authority

Loic Korval has been suspended for a period of six month by the AFLD, the French doping authority. Korval might miss the Olympic Games if the decision is not turned back. Korval was suspended in 2015 for a period of 10 months but that decision was recalled later so he could compete at the World Championships in Astana. Now AFLD struck back with a decision to suspend the French European Judo Champion of 2014 and last year’s finalist at the European Games. Read more
