Born: 9 February 1994 (30 years)
Israeli judoka Baruch Shmailov was European U23 Champion in 2013 in Samokov. He captured more than 17 World Cup medals. In 2014 he won bronze at the Junior World Championships in Miami. Baruch took a bronze medal at the IJF Masters in St. Petersburg in 2017 and silver in 2018. He took a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2018 and in Zagreb and silver in The Hague. He took silver at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021 and gold at the IJF Masters in Jerusalem in 2022. Shmailov finished second at the Grand Slam in Tashkent and Grand Prix Linz in 2024.
