German judoka Nadja Bazynski won a bronze medal at the European U23 Championships in 2014. In 2017 she took bronze at the Euro Open in Sofia. She won gold at the European Open in Madrid in 2018. At the European Open in Glasgow she took silver in 2016 and bronze in 2014. At the Grand Prix in Jeju she also took bronze in 2014. With the team of Speyer she won the European Club Championships in 2014 and the Golden League in 2016. Daughter of Dutch women's coach Michael Bazynski.

The category U63kg is a European division with Olympic Champion Tina Trstenjak who is always in for a battle with her rivals Agbegnenou, Unterwurzacher, Trajdos, and Schlesinger. Even though Olympic medallists Yarden Gerbi (ISR) and Anicka van Emden (NED) either won’t compete or retired, the competition is quite severe and there are lots of women with good confidence that they can be a showcase at this event. At the second day of the German Championships it was a real sisters act. U52kg The sisters Stoll qualified for the final, while both twins eliminated the sisters Coban in the semi finals. U63kg both Reimann sisters were in the semi finals, but had to bow for the finallists. Read more

JSV Speyer captures the ECC Golden League

At the Golden League in Grozny the women of JSV Speyer have won the gold medal. In the final the German team defeated Vienna Samurai by 4-1. In the semi final Speyer defeated RSC Champigny by 3-2 as Jasmin Kuelbs was on fire and defeated Olympic Champion Audrey Tcheumeo. Read more
