German judoka Mascha Ballhaus became European Cadet Champion in 2017 in Kaunas. She captured a silver medal at the Cadet World Championships in 2017 in Santiago de Chile. Ballhaus also won the team title with Germany. With the German Junior Team she won bronze at the World Mixed Teams in 2017 in Zagreb. Mascha Ballhaus (GER) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U48kg in 2017. She claimed a bronze medal at the European Cup in Celje in 2019. She won the European Cup in Malaga in 2019.

Juniors ad history to European Cup in Paks

The talents from the Ukraine were the best at the European Cup for Juniors in Paks. The annual judo tournament on the banks of the Danube river is since 2001 the place for Hungarian judo talent. The home team won three gold medals but also lost 4 finals of which U81kg delivered an all Hungarian final. Read more

Germany tops the medal table at Junior European Cup in Kaunas

Host nation Lithuania could cheer fast but once. At the European Cup for Juniors Egle Naudziunaite won the bronze U44kg, from then the 13 other nations took the medals and Germany impressed with three gold medals. Only The Netherlands took more medals at the first day of action. Read more
