Japanese judoka Haruka Funakubo won bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. She captured the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021 and 2022 and Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2022. She is the only triple Junior World Champion in the world. She won the world titles in 2015, 2017 and 2018 and she contributed to the mixed team world title for Juniors. Haruka took a silver medal at the World Championships in 2022 and 2023 in Doha. Multiple World team Champion. Earned a bronze medal at the Grand Slam Qazaqstan Barysy 2024.
