Dutch judoka Jesper Smink earned bronze at the Grand Prix The Hague in 2017 and 2018 and at the Junior European Championships in 2017. He secured silver with the Dutch team at the World Junior Mixed Team Championships in Zagreb in 2017. Smink clinched bronze at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv and Düsseldorf's Grand Slam in 2019. He claimed the Dutch senior title in 2021 and started 2022 with a career highlight, winning the Grand Prix of Portugal. He also won bronze at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2022, silver in 2024. Gold medal at the 2024 European Open in Prague.
