Tore biceps tendon forces Guillaume Elmont to retire

Guillaume Elmont announced his retirement from top judo. The 2005 World Champion tore his biceps tendon. Elmont suffered the injury since last Wednesday during a workout at work. The estimated recovery takes at least three months, which was decisive to quit judo at this level. The 34-year-old athlete was still battling for a ticket for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with Noel van ‘t End. Read more
