Tchrikishvili and Gasimov back as World Ranking leaders

Avtandili Tchrikishvili of Georgia is back at the number one seed due to the decrease to 0% of the Grand Slam of Tokyo in 2013. World Champion Nagase is now at 2. Brazilian Victor Penalber moved to 4, from 5. Khasan Khalmurzaev is new in the top 10, he jumped to place 8 after his final in Jeju. Elmar Gasimov is back at number one U100kg, he passed Krpalek as leader again (now at 2). Frey (3) and Maret (4) changed position, same for Peters (5) and Nikiforov (6).

Orkhan Safarov (AZE) moved up in the top three U60kg, he came from 6 last week. Sharafuddin Lutfillaev is now 6 compared to 7 last week. Takato moved from 5 to 8, but we will be seeing him next week in Tokyo.

U66kg Mikhail Pulyaev came from 4 to place 2 this week. Shikhalizada (5) swopped placed with Takajo (6). No big changes U73kg.

Small changed U90kg where Van ‘t End is back at 3, due to the decrease for Baker (6). Also Gviniashvili moved up to place 4.

The top 6 +100kg didn’t change this week. The only one Teddy Riner never fought in the top 10 is Hisayoshi Harasawa. He did fight Roy Meyer in Jeju who’s now at place 7, from 8.

Some judoka benefit of Ami Kondo who was downgraded from 3 to 8, Dolgova took her position at 3 U48kg.

The top 7 U52kg didn’t change. Jan Di Kim is now at 5 U57kg after her continuous wins in Abu Dhabi and Jeju. Automne Pavia is now at the bottom at 10 coming from 6. No changes in the top 5 U63kg and U70kg. Sally Conway is now at 6 after her victory in Jeju, she comes from 8.

Marhinde Verkerk who won in Tokyo in 2013 is now at place 6, from 4 U78kg, Guusje Steenhuis is now higher ranked than Verkerk. Harrison is still leading clearly U78kg.

No serious changes in the top 10 +78kg, the top 4 is still the same.
