Hungarian judoka Szofi Ozbas became Youth Olympic Champion in 2018 in Buenos Aires. She became European Cadet Champion in 2017 in Kaunas. In 2018 won the European Cup Cadets in Follonica, Teplice and Ploiesti in 2017. She took a bronze medal at the Cadet World Championships in Santiago de Chile in 2017. In 2018 she won gold at the Cadet European Cup in Cluj Napoca and Bielsko Biala. Szofi Ozbas (HUN) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U52kg in 2017 and 2018.

Sarajevo again proud host of Cadet European Championships

This week more than 450 young judoka are expected to fight at the Cadet European Championships in Sarajevo. The Juan Antonio Samaranch Olympic Hall was named in honor of Juan Antonio Samaranch in 2010 after the death of the former IOC President. Italian girls efficient at European Cup in Cluj Napoca

At the European Cup for Cadets in Cluj Napoca in Romanian, Italy was by far the most efficient country with four won finals.
