German judoka Lara Reimann became European Cadet Champion U18 in 2014 in Athens. Reimann won the European Cup in Belgrade in 2015 U63kg. Sister of Lea Reimann. She won silver at the Junior European Championships in Malaga in 2016. Lara Reimann (GER) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U63kg in 2014 and 2015.

German women set junior records at European Cup in Prague

The German junior women proved their strength at the European Cup in Prague. Four category titles were captured by the German women and Falk Petersilka added one in the men’s division to make it five. Azerbaijan showcased strong judo among the men obviously beginning with gold in the lightweights U55kg by Rashkan Bakhishaliyev. Two all Azeri finals in U55 and U60 where Ahmad Yusufov won the title. German women and Georgian men take European Junior title

As always the team Championships are an amazing event at the last day of most individual championships. The Junior European Championships for team again delivered a great atmosphere and superb team excitement. The final for men was won by Georgia after a thrilling begin of the match including five battles with Azerbaijan. The title for women was convincingly taken by Germany after a 4-1 walkover against the Russian junior women. Read more

The Russian giant claimed the European title U90kg, despite all competition in his weight class, he simply meets the expectations. European Cup Berlin good practise for Malaga in September

Eighteen medal winning nations at the Junior European Cup in Berlin. France however was the most dominant nation with four gold and ten medals in total. Russia and Italy also impressed with three gold medals.
