Anton Krivobokov became European Junior Champion Judo in 2013 in Sarajevo and Won the World Junior Championships U21 in 2013 in Ljubljana and bronze in 2011. He was World U17 Champion in Budapest in 2009 O90kg. He won silver at the Grand Prix in Qingdao in 2016. With Yewara Newa he won the Golden League in 2017 in Ankara. He captured bronze at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv in 2019. He claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2019.

Junior World Championships gold medallist Gela Zaalishvili of Georgia made an impression on the IJF World Judo Tour to open his senior medal account on the international stage. Zaalishvili countered a sasae-tsurikomi-ashi attempt from Tunis Grand Prix bronze medallist Ruslan Shakhbazov (RUS) with te-waza for a waza-ari score and added a second waza-ari to seal a decisive victory in the last contest of the Grand Slam in Azerbaijan. Or Sasson sets Israel on fire with home victory

Olympic bronze medallist Or Sasson ended the historic first IJF event in Israel on a high for the hosts as the heavyweight maestro won the last final of the competition. Sasson defeated The Hague Grand Prix winner Yakiv Khammo (UKR) in golden score to win Israel’s fourth Grand Prix gold medal and to make sure his country finished out of sight at the top of the medal table. French judo heavyweight Cyrille Maret ended his gold drought at the IJF Abu Dhabi Grand Slam after he won the over 100-kilogramme final from Maciej Sarnacki of Poland at the Ipic Arena on Saturday. In his three previous appearances at the capital event, the bronze medallist at the 2016 Rio Games had finished fifth in 2011, when it was still a Grand Prix event, seventh in 2013 and bronze in 2014.
