Belgian judoka Kenneth Van Gansbeke won the African Open in Casablanca in 2014 and won a handful of World Cup medals. He took European Cadet bronze in 2006 and World Junior bronze in 2009. Double Belgian junior champion. He won his first senior European Cup in Saarbrucken in 2016. He became Belgian champion in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He won the gold at the European Open in Madrid in 2018. He took bronze at the European Open in Glasgow in 2018. He took silver at the Grand Prix in Montreal.
