Paralympic judoka Alana Martins of Brazil claimed the gold medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. She took silver at the Paralympic Games in Rio2016. She won the Visual Impaired Grand Prix in Birmingham in 2016. She also won the Visual Impaired German Open in Heidelberg in 2016 U70kg. She took the silver medal at the IBSA Grand Prix in Baku in 2019. She won the IBSA Judo Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2019. She claimed a gold medal at the IBSA Grand Prix in Antalya in 2022. She became IBSA World Champion in Baku in 2022. She was victorious at the IBSA Pan Am Championships in Edmonton in 2023.
