Russian judoka Khamzat Akhmarov won a bronze medal at the European Cadet Championships U18 Sofia in 2015 and bronze at the Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo in 2015. He claimed a bronze medal at the European Cup in Orenburg in 2018. In 2019 he took silver at the Junior European Cup in St. Petersburg. Akhmarov was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U55kg in 2016 and 2017. He took silver at the Junior European Championships in Porec in 2020. He bagged a bronze medal at the European Open in Orenburg in 2021. He claimed a bronze medal at the European U23 title in Budapest in 2021.
