Georgian judoka Luka Maisuradze captured world bronze in Tokyo in 2019 after he defeated Saeid Mollaei. He claimed the European U23 title in 2020 in Porec. He won bronze at the European Games in Minsk in 2019. He captured bronze at the 2018 Junior World Championships. He took bronze at the Grand Slam of Ekaterinburg in 2019 and GS Kazan in 2021. He took gold at the Grand Prix in Antalya. He took bronze at the European Championships in Prague. He bagged silver at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2021 and bronze in the Paris Grand Slam. He captured a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2021.
