Armen Bagdasarov is 1996 Olympic finalist for Uzbekistan against Jeon U86kg. He won two Asian Championships im 1996 (U86kg) and in 1999 (U90). As Young talent he won bronze at the European Junior Championships in 1992. Later Bagdasarov became Judo President of Uzbekistan and IJF Sports Director. He became head referee director of the IJF in 2021.
