Spanish judoka Nikoloz Sherazadishvili became World Champion in 2021 in Budapest and 2018 in Baku as first male World champion of Spain. He added world bronze in 2024 in Abu Dhabi U100kg.Niko won European Championships bronze in 2018 in Tel Aviv and 2023 in Montpellier. He was born in Tbilisi. Nikoloz fought the World Junior Championships final in 2014 and in 2015. Nikoloz won the Grand Slam in Paris in 2020. He took silver at the Grand Prix in Portugal and GS in Paris in 2024. He triumphed at the Grand Slam Tbilisi 2024. End of 2022 he had a ruptured cruciate ligament in the knee.
