French judoka Axel Clerget won bronze at the World Championships in Tokyo in 2019 and Baku in 2018. He opened 2019 with a victory at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv. Clerget captured silver at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi and Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2016. In 2009 he won bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris. He won silver at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2017. Clerget took silver at the European Championships in Warsaw in 2017. He took bronze at the GP Portugal in 2023. He took silver at the Grand Prix in Linz in 2023. He took a bronze medal at the Grand Slam Qazaq Barysy in Astana in 2023.
