Adlan Bisultanov aiming for the number one position in Russia U100kg
In the final of the Grand Prix of Antalya U100kg Adlan Bisultanov of Russia took the initiative and the victory. His opponent, former World Champion Maxim Rakov was penalised with a shido for passivity after the first minute. Halfway to the end with a superb tai-otoshi, Bisultanov scored a first waza-ari. Russian Adlan Bisultanov makes fresh start in Zagreb
Russian Adlan Bisultanov was a leading performer in Zagreb as he defeated Dutch Budapest Grand Prix winner Michael Korrel to win his third Grand Prix gold medal. Korrel could not make it two back-to-back Grand Prix gold medals as he was on the receiving end of a drop seoi-nage which was worth a waza-ari score and was caught with a ko-uchi-gari for a yuko with a minute remaining. Zagreb opens the World Tour with new generation
This week the first IJF World Tour event will be held, in the beautiful city of Zagreb the top athletes will gain new points for a good seeing and slowly build up their Olympic cycle. It’s the fourth edition of the Croatian Grand Prix, first held in Rijeka, and since 2014 in the capital. The tournament is a stable event in the IJF World Tour and that will be confirmed by a new contract for another term of four years. Read more

Martin Pacek completes Swedish golden party in Tyumen
Martin Pacek of Sweden has earned a reputation for being an awkward fighter with a style that frustrates his opponents. His results speak for themselves and the Swedish fighter, who will be seeded for the Olympics, showed a wide range of techniques in the final against former Baku Grand Slam winner Adlan Bisultanov (RUS). Pacek prolonged his title in Sweden and booked his second Grand Slam victory in his career, on a day where also Marcus Nyman took gold. Read more
