In 2018 Russian Mikhail Igolnikov finished fifth at the 2020 Olympic Games. He won the European senior title in 2018 in Tel Aviv and Prague in 2020 and bagged bronze in 2021. He captured the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Ulaanbaatar in 2022 and 2023. Mikhail took gold at the Grand Slam in Budapest in 2020 and Grand Slam Baku in 2023. He became Youth Olympic Champion in 2014. Was European Cadet Champ in 2011, 2012 and 2013. He won the European Junior title in 2016. Igolnikov became European U23 Champion in 2017. He won the World Cadet title in 2011 in Kiev and took bronze in 2013.
