Born: 9 February 1991 (33 years)
Chinese judoka Xunzhao Cheng was the surprise of the Olympic Games U90kg defeating three European top favourites and winning Olympic bronze in 2016 in Rio. He won the Grand Prix in Qingdao in 2012 U90kg which was one of his career highlights. The same year he won the East Asian Games. In 2016 he won silver at the Grand Prix in Almaty and in 2014 silver in Ulaanbaatar. In 2017 he won the Grand Slam in Paris as first Chinese man. In 2022 Cheng was added to the coaching Team in the staff of Felipe Sanchez.
