Maelle Di Cintio won the Universiade in Kazan (Student World Championships) in 2013 U63kg. In 2013 she took silver at the European Championships U23 Samokov. In 2014 she won the French title. Not much longer in Sofia in 2015 she tore her knee ligaments. She captured a bronze medal at the European Cup Celje Podčetrtek in 2017. She became French senior champion in 2017 and 2018. Two Japanese topped the medal table of the European Open in Rome. But two Italians stole the hearts of the home crowd. The three bronze medallists Edwige Gwend, Rosalba Forciniti and Francesca Milani.
