Tuvshinbayar Naidan is the 2008 Olympic Champion and first Olympic Champion for Mongolia. He reached Olympic silver in 2012 in London. He won world bronze in 2017 in Budapest. Example for his successful generation. He definitely inspired thousands of judoka resulting in lots of success. In 2015 he won gold at the Grand Prix Qingdao 2015. He clinched a silver medal at the gold Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2019

Former Cadet World Championships winner and teenage prodigy Kim Minjong of Korea pulled out all the stops as he beat Mongolian hero Naidan Tuvshinbayar (MGL) to register his first IJF World Judo Tour victory. Mongolia had sent a big team of 25 athletes and only Mongolian legend Naidan was able to reach the final. Read more

Heavyweight legends fight for gold in Hong Kong

China captured four gold medals at the Hong Kong Open, and Japan and Korea both claimed two titles - maybe two-and-a-half as Kaihan Takagi won gold in his U100kg weight class.
