Dutch judoka Jelle Snippe captured bronze at the Grand Prix The Hague in 2017. He won silver at the Dutch Championships in 2017. He claimed a silver medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2019. He won the European Cup U21 in Gdynia in 2018. He took bronze at the European U23 Championship in 2019 in Izhevsk. He claimed a bronze medal at the European Open in Zagreb in 2021. He claimed the Dutch senior title in 2021 in Almere. He clinched the gold medal at the European Open in Madrid in 2022. He finished with silver at the Grand Slam in Budapest in 2022 and lost to Teddy Riner.
