British judoka Christopher Sherrington won the World Cup in Apia in 2011. He won the European Cup Uster in 2016. In 2011 he won the World Cup in Apia and a few World Cup medals in Samsun, Montevideo and Havana. Sherrington was triple British champion and many times in the final. He won the Commonwealth Championships in Derry and Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as highlight in 2014. He won the European Cup in Dubrovnik in 2019 aged 35. He captured the British senior title in Sheffield in 2019.
