Tsagaanbaatar Khashbaatar is the 2009 World Champion and 2004 Olympic bronze medallist in Athens. The Mongolian judoka is one of the legends for his country. He fought in 4 different weight classes and won multiple Asian title and international IJF events. Stylist at the tatami and outside. He took silver at the Sambo World Championships in 2013 in St. Petersburg. Tsagaanbaatar Khashbaatar (MGL) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for seniors U66kg from 2009-2012.

Former World Champion U60kg Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar simply loves the game of judo. Instead of his current job as coach he competed himself, in this case U90kg and took a silver medal. The gold at the Mongolian Championships went to Erdenekhuu Munkhjargal after two wazari scores. Khashbaatar retired in 2015 but he is comparable to Ilias Iliadis, where the blood goes, there’s judo inside. Read more

Mongolia doesn’t count too many world titles, but at 26 August both Tsagaanbaatar Khashbaatar and Urantsetseg Munkhbat won the world title.
