Chinese judoka Zongying Guo competed at World Championships since 2022 finishing 17th -48kg in 2022 and 2023. In 2024 she reached ninth place -48kg, one win, one loss. She captured a bronze medal at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou and took two fifth places at Asian Championships (2022, 2024). Bagged a bronze medal at the 2024 Grand Slam Tbilisi -48kg. In 2022 she won her first World Judo Tour (bronze) medal at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi. She added two world cup medals in 2022 and 2023; silver at the 2022 Asian Open in Aktau and bronze at the 2023 European Open in Rome.
