Mashu Baker of Japan became Olympic Champion in 2016 in Rio U90kg. Baker won bronze at the 2015 World Championships. He is also known as Masyu Beiker. He won his first Grand Slam in 2013 in Tokyo and won the Grand Slams of Baku, Tyumen and Tokyo in 2015. Gold at the World Masters 2016. He contributed to the World team title with Japan twice. When he came back from his shoulder injury he took silver at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2018. In 2019 he won the Grand Prix in Montreal. He won the Kodokan Cup in 2022.
