Brazilian judoka Ellen Santana took silver in the mixed team event at the Junior worlds in Nassau. She was Pan American U21 Champion in La Paz in 2018 and South American senior champion. She won bronze at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2019. She won the Pan American Open in Santiago in 2019 and took silver in Lima. She was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for juniors U70kg in 2018. World Mixed team bronze in Tokyo in 2019. She bagged the gold medal at the Pan American Open and Pan American Championships in Guadalajara in 2021. She captured a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2023.
