Tumurkhuleg Davaadorj back to number one position U66kg

Tumurkhuleg Davaadorj is the new leader in the World Ranking U66kg, last week he was second. In was ranked first in April 2015 for the last time. In this category five judoka have been ranking leader this year. Georgii Zantaraia follows at place two. It was the final of the Grand Slam in Paris last weekend.

U60kg Naohisa Takato is back in the top five, now fourth after his victory in Paris. The top 5 U73kg and U81kg didn’t change. Paris winner Varlam Liparteliani gained two places U81kg and is back to the second position behind Gwak.

Elmar Gasimov is still leading U100kg, Krpalek moved to 2, but Cyrille Maret jumped to place 3, not his best position, one year ago he was ranked second. Paris bronze medallist Roy Meyer is the best mover +100kg, now at 4, from 7, his best ever position.

In the women's division Van Snick moved into the top 5 thanks to her bronze medal U48kg this weekend.

Majlinda Kelmendi gained one place from 4 to 3 U52kg. Same for Telma Monteiro, although she was the winner in Paris. The Portuguese passed her friend Matsumoto and is now ranked 3. Martyna Trajdos and Yarden Gerbi swopped places from 5 to 4 by the German bronze medallist.
