Paris Grand Slam will see big Teddy as eyecatcher

The Grand Slam season will be opened in Paris. Paris is the venue for the biggest international judo event in the world. In 2009 it was inaugurated in the World Tour. This year the Grand Slam de Paris shows a record participation registered so far, 121 countries, 742 judokas distributed in 448 men and 294 women.

Who will manage to qualify with the precious points awarded in the Accord Arena. The crowd will witness super judo. In Japan some of the nominated athletes were announced by All Japan Judo Federation in December. Who will join this team with high pressure in its own homeland. France hosts three World Champions. The crowd could also reach a new level with the anticipated return to the famous venue of Teddy for the first time in seven years and with the event carrying even greater significance in an Olympic year the atmosphere will be cranked up to ear-popping levels and will reverberate around magical city of Paris.
