Cuban judoka Legna Verdecia-Rodriguez is one of the most successful Cuban judoka in the history. She was 2000 Olympic Champion U52kg while she had already won bronze in 1996. 1993 World Champion in Hamilton. Won seven PanAmerican titles. She won the Tournoi de Paris in 1994, 1998 and 1999. She triumphed at the German Open World Masters five times..
