Kana Tomizawa of Japan became World Cadet Champion in 2015 in Sarajevo U52kg. She was All japan cadet champion in 2015. In 2015 she won the World Junior Team title with Japan in Abu Dhabi and the mixed team world title for Juniors. She captured a bronze medal at the 2018 Junior World Championships in the Bahamas. She won bronze in Oberwart in 2019. She clinched a silver medal at the Asian Pacific Championships in Fujairah in 2019. She won the Universiade in Napoli.
