Korean judoka Jeong-Yun Lee finished fifth at the 2024 World Championships in Abu Dhabi. She won a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2017 and the Asian Pacific Championships in Fujairah in 2019. She claimed bronze at the Grand Slam in Tashkent in 2021 and the Grand Prix of Portugal in 2022. In 2022, she also earned a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris and a silver at the Asian Championships. Continuing her strong performance, she secured another bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2023.
