Khanim Huseynova had a long career as an athlete. She claimed the gold medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. She got injured and clinched a silver medal at the IBSA Judo Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2019. She captured a bronze medal at the IBSA World Champion in Baku in 2022.
