Sevda Valiyeva of Azerbaijan claimed the gold medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. She became 2017 IBSA European Champion in Walsall. She won the IBSA Grand Prix in Baku in 2019. She took silver at the IBSA European title in Genoa in 2019. She clinched a silver medal at the IBSA Judo Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2019.
