Judoka Aleksandra Samardzic of Bosnia Herzegovina claimed a silver medal at the World Junior Championships in 2017 and bronze at the junior Europeans. She took European bronze in the Junior and U23 age and silver in 2015 and bronze in 2017. Samardzic won the Youth Olympics silver in 2014. She took bronze at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2016. She won a bronze at the GS in Baku in 2017. Aleksandra took gold at the Balkan Championships and the European University Games in Lodz both in 2022 and in Zagreb in 2023. Samardzic secured a bronze medal at the Grand Prix Upper Austria in Linz in 2024.
