Judoka Andre Jocelyn Ename from Gabon was a talented athlete and took bronze at the African U21 Championships in Algiers in 2013 and had participated in the World Junior Championships in Cape Town. Since 2014, he has been confined at home in a medical bed, after being seriously injured at a tournament in Ivory Coast. IJF President Marius Vizer took the decision to allocate the remainder of the fundraising carried out during the 'Masks for Africa' operation to the family of the young man.
