Canada tops the table after day of the first European Open of the year. Ecaterina Guica won her category U52kg in the final against Karolina Pienkowska. Guica won all her matches by ippon. Read more

French judoka impress at first event with new rules

France have won six out of the eight gold medals at the first Continental open of the season. The African Open in Tunis was the first ocassion where the new rules were applicable. The French men won all categories and only Tunisia's Olfa Saoudi and Cristina Cabana Perez of Spain won their categories. Read more
