Spanish Jaione Equisoain won her first World Cup in Montevideo in 2015 and won the PanAm Open Buenos Aires in 2016. She competed at World and European Championships. Spanish senior champion U57kg since 2014. Was already multiple champion in U20 and U23. She won the Panam Open in Santiago in 2016. She took a silver medal at the European Open in Lisbon in 2018. She took a bronze medal at the European Cup in Malaga in 2018 and 2019. She captured silver at the European Open in Tallinn in 2019. A bronze medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2022 and she won the European Open in Madrid in 2023.
