Elbrus Zamanov of Azerbaijan won the European Open in Sofia in 2016. In 2011 he won European Cadet silver and participated at the World Cadet Championships. As Junior he won European Cup medals in Coimbra and Lignano. He won bronze at the PanAm Open in Lima in 2016. He took a bronze medal at the European Open in Belgrade in 2017.
