Turkish judoka Damla Caliskan claimed a gold medal at the European Cup U21 Athens in 2015. She took a bronze medal at the Junior European Championships in Oberwart in 2015. Damla was Turkish Junior Champion in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and captured various medals at senior Championships. She bagged a bronze medal at European Cup in Celje Podčetrtek in 2016 and she competed in the IJF World Tour.
