Lasha Shavdatuashvili won the Olympic title U66kg in 2012 and finished with silver at the 2020 Olympic Games. Lasha became World Champion in 2021 in Budapest U73kg. Lasha and took Olympic bronze U73kg in Rio in 2016. The Georgian judoka He collected four medals at European Championships in 2012, 2013 (gold), 2016 and 2020. He took a silver medal at the IJF Masters in 2017 and bronze in 2018. Lasha bagged gold at the Grand Slam in Tblisi in 2024. He won the Grand Slam in Paris in 2022 and 2023. He bagged a bronze medal at the 2023 IJF World Masters in Budapest.
