German judoka Pauline Starke won the Junior European title in Malaga in 2016. She had won the European Cup for Juniors in Leibnitz in 2016. With the German Junior Team she won bronze at the World Mixed Teams in 2017 in Zagreb. Starke was number 1 of the Junior World Ranking U57kg in 2017. She captured bronze at the European Games in Minsk. Pauline captured a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2021. She clinched the gold medal at the European Open in Warsaw and Prague in 2022. She secured silver at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi in 2022. She took bronze at the Grand Slam in Tashkent in 2024.
