Slovenian top coach Marjan Fabjan won national titles between 1977 and 1992 U78kg. Multiple champion of Slovenia, Yugoslavia and even Austria. Later he became a successful coach of Olympic champion Urska Zolnir, Tina Trstenjak, Ana Velensek, Lucija Polavder, Rok Draksic and Mihael Zgank. He delivered a European and a World title and two Olympic titles. He was awarded as the 2016 Best women’s coach of the Year by the EJU.
