Selim Tataroglu was one of the most successful judoka ever for Türkiye. He was four times heavyweight European Champion (12 medals in total). He won four World Championships medals, two finals in 1999 and 2001. Fifth at the Olympic Games in 2000, fought at three Olympics. He triumphed at the German Open World Masters in 1996.
