American judoka Margaret Castro was 1988 Olympic bronze medallist in Seoul as heavyweight. She won two bronze medal at World Championships in 1984 and 1987 and was in the final in 1982 in Paris. Margaret Castro was multiple Pan American champion and PanAm Games winner in the eighties.
