Korean judoka Hyun-Ji Yoon finished fifth at the Tokyo2020 Games. She clinched a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2023. She fought the Junior World Championships final in 2011. She finished seventh at the 2014 World Championships in Astana. She took a bronze medal at the Asian Pacific Championships in Fujairah in 2019. She won the gold medal at the Asian Open in Hong Kong in 2019. She started 2022 well with a victory at the Grand Prix of Portugal. Seized silver at the Asian Championships in Hong Kong in 2024.
