Russian judoka Boris Mischenko won 3 European Championships medals 1962-1967. He was the head coach of the national team of the USSR in judo during the summer Olympics in Moscow. Mishchenko 1994-2014 was the coach of CSKA Moscow in Sambo and judo. He passed away in January 2020.
