Dutch judoka Mistral Janssen won the Dutch senior title in 2016 after four national medals and took the Belgian title 35 days later and prolonged the Belgian title in 2017. He won medal at European Junior cups in Lyon and Paks and European Senior Cup in Sindelfingen and Celje. He won the bronze medal at the Sambo European Championships in Gijon in 2019. Mistral finished 7th at the Sambo World Championships U90kg in Cheongju.

Somewhat strange the name of Mistral Janssen at the Belgian Championships. He won the Dutch title 35 days ago and today in Herstal he took his second title in practically a month time.
