Dutch judoka Mistral Janssen won the Dutch senior title in 2016 after four national medals and took the Belgian title 35 days later and prolonged the Belgian title in 2017. He won medal at European Junior cups in Lyon and Paks and European Senior Cup in Sindelfingen and Celje. He won the bronze medal at the Sambo European Championships in Gijon in 2019. Mistral finished 7th at the Sambo World Championships U90kg in Cheongju. He took a bronze medal at the Belgian Open in Visé in 2023, his fourth medal in Visé. He claimed a gold medal at the Dutch Championship Teams in Rotterdam in 2023.
